We have three Self-Catering units, each with its own character and view of the sea.
The property is situated within walking distance from the Mineral World and less than 10 minutes drive away from the popular penguin colony at Boulders beach. It is a mere 20 minute drive to Cape Point nature reserve where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet.
Simons Town is a naval town and from the house you will have an undisturbed view of the harbor. This town has a rich historic background with a number of museums, which are a clear fascination to both locals and tourists. Various art and curio shops operate at the waterfront amongst unique restaurants and coffee shops. For those who are more adventurous than others, Water taxis run from the harbor to a nearby island where activities such as shark cage diving are guaranteed to excite .
Fish Hoek , regarded as the best beach in the Cape Peninsula, is less than 10 minutes drive away from our house. Just further on sits Kalkbay home to some of the most popular restaurants in the Southern Peninsula.
Muizenberg, 3 km further offers popular and exciting water sports for children among other attractions
Driving to Cape Town city center will take about 45 minutes(the 45 minute drive, however is definitely worth it). On the way you will pass the world-renowned Kirstenbosch botanical gardens at the foot of Table Mountain with its Cable Way located conveniently near the city center. The V&A waterfront is a great place to spend time. Here you will find a great variety of restaurants, the Two Oceans Aquarium, cinemas and many other attractions. A few minutes from the waterfront is Campsbay where many holiday makers enjoy hours relaxing on the beach.
An hour's drive from the city center or from Simon’s Town will bring you into the picturesque Boland where most of our country's choice wines are produced.
